Alright, so it has been several months since I’ve added a new recipe to this website. There were definitely lots of legitimate reasons that I can tell you about why it has been so long … but the reality is that I wasn’t sure if I wanted to keep this whole thing up. I enjoy having my own website but I have grown weary of the internet and social media.
The idea of having to log into several different websites to post photos and put up a dozen hashtags and interact with followers is awful and tedious. So I took a long, long break. I have been cooking and baking a storm up in the meantime and still photographing odd recipes here and there because I felt I might want to return to this website. I’m still unsure about all the other social media sites because I cannot state enough how much I just despise them.
For now I want to resume posting here. I am not going to tote myself as some professional chef with the most perfect and unique recipes. Nah. That isn’t me. I like home cooking! So I’ll throw in some original recipes but also I’ll be sharing some of my favorite recipes along the way. This is just my lil’ virtual notebook for posting what I like to bake and eat.
I am glad to be back and I hope you enjoy recipes that are soon to come!
