Homemade Granola and Yogurt Cantaloupe Bowls

In winter we eat bread bowls and in Summer we eat Cantaloupe bowls! Halve out some sweet Summer Cantaloupe, fill with your favorite yogurt (I love a plain one mixed with a lil’ honey!), homemade granola , and whatever fresh fruit you love. These are the perfect low key summer breakfast or lunch.

These bowls are my answer to the endless images of smoothie bowls that we see during this time of year. I can barely tolerate smoothies in a cup but smoothie bowls AKA cold fruit soup?!… no thanks! These are kind of like a reconstructed fruit and yogurt breakfast plate. Plus they offer all the fun you get out of stuffed pineapple dishes but without all that dang work!

This recipe is stupid simple because really you can fill these with any kind of yogurt/granola flavor and any combo of fresh fruits. I love a simple strawberry and banana combo. But can you imagine a peach and blackberry one? Or a kiwi strawberry with coconut granola. The possibilities are endless and delicious!

Whatever you do, please try and make some homemade granola to go with this. My recipe for granola is easy, quick, and mainly hands free. Homemade granola also beats out any store brand flavor wise and is crazy cheap in comparison!
